Tofino Village
Three kilometres from Middle Beach Lodge is Tofino, a picturesque coastal village with a strong maritime heritage, providing the backdrop to the town's eclectic culture. In earlier times, as the shores of the West Coast of Vancouver Island became known as the graveyard of the Pacific, Tofino became a service town for early explorers, fishermen and loggers working this wild and rugged coast. Today, the town features galleries, quaint eateries, bakeries, supply stores, pubs and much more.
